Outside of the five national programs, Lambda Eta Sigma Alumnae Chapter is very active with local organizations and initiatives within the Pinson (Birmingham) and greater Jefferson County Area.

• Participation in the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation walk for Ovarian Cancer 

• The Out of Darkness Walk, hosted by The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

• Community Clean- Up 

• The Home Instead Senior Care Center 

• the YWCA Child Development Center
